Voice and Instrumental Classes

Our Creative Arts classes are offered afterschool for FCA and non-FCA students in grades KG - 8th grade. This class will cover intermediate and advanced art techniques. The student’s art will be displayed during the Spring FCA Fine Arts Recitals.
Early Childhood Percussion
Instructor: Michael McQueen
Percussion classes are offered to students in grades EC3 and EC4. The students will learn basic rhythmic concepts and will perform using rhythm band instruments.
FCA Band and Elementary/Middle Percussion
(FCA students only)
Instructor: S’ank Rasa
The FCA Band consists of Wind Instruments only (flute, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, trombone) to students in 2nd grade and up. This program is offered at no cost to current FCA students, however, students will need to purchase and maintain their own instruments. Classes are held on Tuesdays afterschool.
Percussion classes are offered to students in grades EC3 and up. The students learn basic to advanced drum rudiments and perform as a group throughout the school year.

Piano classes are offered to FCA students grades EC3 and up during the day. We also offer evening classes for non-FCA students. Students will be instructed using the Alfred Piano curriculum in piano theory and performance.

Vocal Classes are offered to students in grades KG and up during the day. We also offer evening classes for non-FCA students.
Guitar classes are offered to FCA students in 3rd grade and up afterschool on Thursdays.
Essence Dance Classes
Director: Avis Sauls
FCA Fine Arts is pleased to host Essence Dance Co. classes on the campus of Fellowship Christian Academy. This program is coordinated by Mrs. Avis Sauls and is offered to FCA and Non-FCA Students in grades EC3 to adult. Essence Dance classes will be held afterschool for FCA and non-FCA students.
Make up Lessons
Tuition covers one 30 min class per week, so due to unavoidable interruptions in the school schedule, classes are held 10 min later each week in order to cover weeks when class needs to be cancelled. Fine Arts Classes are made up due to instructor absences only. Fine Arts classes are not made up due to school closings, fieldtrips, testing, assemblies etc…
