THE ADMISSIONS POLICY

The purpose of the admissions policy is to determine whether Fellowship Christian Academy is the best fit for students applying for admittance. As a Christ-centered school, we are dedicated to providing our students with an education that allows them to reach their fullest potential academically, spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Assessments, parent interviews, eligibility critieria, and prayerful discussions are taken into account to assist our admissions committee in making decisions that serve the best interests and needs of our applicants.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES FOR PRESCHOOL

Step I
Parents must contact the Admissions Office to verify availability.

Step II
Once availability* has been established, a parent must submit a completed application along with a $50 application processing fee (a cashier's check or money order).  We do not accept personal checks or cash.

*Availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Step III
The completed application, copies of immunization records, birth certificate, and social security card must be submitted and reviewed by the appropriate departments before a student is accepted.

Step IV
Once all documents have been received, a Parent Interview (the parent and the student applicant are required to attend) is scheduled with an administrator. If the preschool child is not in attendance, the Parent Interview will not take place.

Step V
During the Parent Interview, the preschool administrator will review all required documents with the parent(s).

Step VI
All of the information is then submitted to our Admissions Committee. The parent will be informed of the enrollment status based on the recommendation of the Admissions Committee.

Step VII
Once the student's application has been approved, the Director of Enrollment schedules a Parent Finance Meeting. Parents must review the Financial Infomation Sheet and be prepared to discuss their selected payment option.

Step VIII
At the Parent Finance Meeting, parents will review the financial commitment. Registration, curriculum/book fees and tuition are due upon acceptance.

STEP IX
Once all registration, curriculum/book and tuition fees are paid in full, the applicant is assigned to the appropriate class.
