Fellowship Christian Academy is pleased to provide students with opportunities to participate in a wide variety of extra curricular activities to enhance the growth and development of each individual. These activities will serve as stepping stones as students strive to become well-rounded, Christian scholars in preparation for leadership for tomorrow. It is a privilege to provide experiences that will assist students in attainment of their goals as they seek God’s will for their lives and impact the world in positive, powerful ways. Following are brief descriptions of the extra curricular activities offered at FCA.

 

FCA EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

CHAPEL
Every Monday morning, students attend FCA Chapel where they are provided with the opportunity to praise God and hear His word through a variety of special programs such as Bible lessons, dramatizations, spirit filled music, Biblical demonstrations, and special guest presentations. These programs provide spiritual and intellectual growth for students, teachers, administrators, and guests. Students are actively involved in chapel, leading the audience in opening exercises and Bible choruses monthly by grade level. Parents are also invited and encouraged to attend chapel to join in partnership with the academy in support of the spiritual growth of the students.

As an extension of weekly chapel, character development lessons are integrated into the curriculum with periodic lesson presentations at various grade levels. Administrators and teachers frequently provide discussions and activities with the goal of growing students spiritually, as well as academically. Walking in the fruit of the spirit is emphasized daily, and Bible principles are integrated into every lesson presented.

CHRISTMAS MUSICAL
The purposes of Fellowship Christian Academy’s Christmas musical are to help students develop their understanding of the arts, promote teamwork and unity, and encourage sharing their gifts with others. Most importantly, the Christmas musical is used as a tool for ministry. It provides an opportunity for the students of Fellowship Christian Academy to share the gospel with the community, utilizing the arts.
