PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of education at Fellowship Christian Academy is rooted in the Biblical teachings of Christ. Jesus took regular, everyday people and transformed them and their communities. He worked with ordinary people and achieved extraordinary results. At FCA, we challenge every student to reach his or her highest spiritual and academic potential.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is the absolute standard of truth, and all truth is God’s truth.
Based upon the Biblical truth found in Genesis (1:26), human beings bear the image of God; therefore, every person has eternal worth. We are dedicated to providing our students individual time, effort, and prayer so that they will become mature disciples of Christ. Because of man’s sin, we are separated from God. Man can only be reconciled to God through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Each student is encouraged to respond to God’s invitation to accept Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior and follow Him as Lord.
We aim to instill in all of our students a Bibliocentric worldview from which they can build a solid foundation for life. Our responsibility to our students encompasses the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional areas.We believe in developing well-rounded students who are ready to lead in whatever sphere of influence the Lord may call them.
This philosophy channels our energies to promote high academic standards, helping students achieve creative and critical thinking skills. The primary goal of our instructional program is to prepare students to pursue entrance to any accredited college preparatory program.
Scripture clearly teaches that parents are responsible for their children’s education and discipline (Deuteronomy 6:67). Fellowship Christian Academy believes that the school should be an extension of the home. We cooperate closely with parents in every phase of the student’s development as they become life-long learners.
