The Philosophy of Education at Fellowship Christian Academy is Rooted in the Biblical Teachings of Jesus Christ

Jesus took regular, everyday people and transformed them and their communities. He worked with ordinary people and achieved extraordinary results. At FCA, we challenge every student to reach his or her highest spiritual and academic potential.

We aim to instill in all of our students a Bible-centered worldview from which they can build a solid foundation for life.

Our responsibility to our students encompasses the seven developmental pathways:

  • Cognitive
  • Language
  • Physical
  • Moral
  • Social
  • Emotional
  • Spiritual

We believe in developing well-rounded students who are ready to lead in whatever sphere of influence the Lord may call them.

Scripture clearly teaches that parents are responsible for their children’s education and discipline (Deuteronomy 6:67).

Fellowship Christian Academy believes that the school should be an extension of the home.

We cooperate closely with parents in every phase of the student’s development as they become life-long learners.

Fellowship Christian Academy’s Core Curriculum is designed to meet and exceed state and national standards

Developed for each grade level, our curriculum guides focus on developing critical thinking skills through the framework of a Christian worldview

We Teach Intentionally

FCA teachers are dedicated Christians and are highly trained professionals who utilize best practices based on tried-and-true methodologies as well as the latest educational research for 21st Century learning.

Instruction is designed to encourage students to reach their highest level of academic achievement while stimulating their natural curiosity.

Instruction at FCA is balanced between hands-on, individualized learning and whole group mastery of standards-driven knowledge and skills. FCA instruction emphasizes critical thinking and real-world learning experiences.

In addition to mastering necessary building blocks of knowledge, our students are encouraged to think about how they can impact the culture and world for the good of mankind and glory of God.

Purposeful Learning Produces a Well-rounded Student

Our central focus is to ensure that students not only perform to the highest academic standards but also to prepare them for wherever the Lord may call them in their lives.

For this reason, our curriculum includes exposure to two world languages (Spanish and Mandarin), fine arts, technology, and the traditional core academic disciplines.
